No Resolutions

January is a time of new beginnings. This year I chose to make no New Year's resolutions. None. Not that I feel that there is no room for improvement in my life, but I now see my life as open to improvement every day. Each morning invites a fresh look. Beginning the day with meditation sets the tone for awareness of wondrous opportunities. Silent messages throughout the day are not so easily overlooked when I start with a still mind, empty of thoughts and welcoming wisdom. The tone of the day is noticeably calm, withstanding external storms. I am connected to me.

Today I give special thanks to my friend Gina for inspiring me with her dancing words to open this space of creative expression. If you enjoy rich writing, visit her blog, Muse You Can Use-gina.blogspot.com.
